Art Attack Blog Week 5 term 3

WHAT?

For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.

With Mrs Marsh I learned about foreground, mid ground and background in landscapes.

With Mr Forman I learned about colour and complementary colours.

With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.

SO WHAT?

i enjoyed water colors it was fun and i finished it

i was proud of my mountains and Fields

it was difficult when i had to finish around the white spots

NOW WHAT?

PE - Swimming

WALT: work on backstroke and breaststroke

I learned how to breaststroke - moving my arms and legs

Here is an example of my learning: I kicked my legs and did arm circles

Next time I will kick faster so I can complete my length

Maths Term 3 - Rounding

WALT  we are learning to round to the nearest hundred

Next time I will  try and round to the nearest thousand

Visual Art Term 2/3

WALT: To create a mosaic picture using pastel, chalk and Indian ink.

I learned to use chalk to break our picture into pieces.

Here is an example of my learning: First I drew the fish, then I coloured in with pastel, then I used the Indian ink to break up my picture.

Next time I will try and make the pastel darker.
